Updated January 24, 2025

When a new consortium agreement is ready to be signed, the DLCI needs to route a proposal with the following information:

  • Use this sponsor code regardless if there is a mix of industrial and nonprofit or government sponsors

Research or Other Sponsored Activity

  • If there is a mix of activity types:
    • List the predominant activity type, which will be used for the parent account.
    • Child accounts may have other activity types.
  • Any questions on Activity Type should be directed to RAS.

Title in KC

  • If there are Research Project Plans under the Consortium routing, add prefix RPP to title (e.g., RPP/Consortium Name)

Include at least a summary budget that has F&A breakout

  • The overhead rate charged to non-research sponsored activities is the same as that charged to non-research, non-sponsored activities (e.g., the Fund Fee, “FUNSN,” costing sheet).
  • If there is a mix of activity types, DLCI should provide budget breakdown with F&A split for the two activity types
